On Planning

Mevlana Rumi writes,  You know how it isSometimes we plan a trip to one place, but something takes us to another.

And so it was upon that August day.  We had awoken with plans very different from where we found ourselves that evening.

Let the pull of the Puller draw you to something else, he advises.  And in that something else, there are precious gifts to be taken.  By sun- down, we had been showered with the warmth of gracious hospitality and seen true brotherhood manifest itself in front of our eyes.
