On Mercy

A dear teacher reminded me today that ‘these incidents, borne of boundless love for the Creator, demonstrate unconditional love for the creatures of the earth and serve to illustrate the fathomless depth of heart that exists in a believer who is close to God.”

I couldn’t help, but recall this gentle creature and the equally gentle souls that gave it drink. It was as if he knew from whence his sustenance would come.

By The Most Merciful, this is Meziana.

  1. Isn’t it interesting how animals also have different temperaments? This one was among the most gentle indeed.
